How to Use Epstein Files Search

Searching Documents

Basic Search

Type any word or name into the search box. Results are ranked by relevance and OCR quality.

  • Single word: Maxwell - finds all documents mentioning Maxwell
  • Multiple words: Palm Beach - finds documents with both words

Advanced Search Operators

  • Exact phrase: "flight log" - use quotes to find exact phrases
  • OR search: Andrew OR Clinton - finds documents with either term
  • AND search: Epstein AND Maxwell - both terms must appear (default behavior)

Tip: Start with broad searches, then use quotes for specific phrases. Try alternate spellings if you don't find what you're looking for - OCR errors are common.

The "Browse People" tab shows 267 individuals identified in the documents. You can:

The network graph shows relationships between people based on document co-occurrence:

Note: A connection means two people appear in the same documents. It does NOT imply guilt, collaboration, or wrongdoing.

Features

Bookmarks

Save documents for later by clicking the Bookmark button or pressing B when viewing a document. Bookmarks are stored locally in your browser.

Notes

Add personal notes to any document by clicking the Notes button or pressing N. Notes are stored locally and can be exported as JSON.

Export

  • Export CSV: Download search results as a CSV file
  • Download: Download individual documents as text files
  • Copy: Copy document text to clipboard
  • Cite: Generate a citation for the document

Understanding OCR Quality

The documents were scanned and processed with Optical Character Recognition (OCR). Quality varies:

By default, low-quality results are hidden. Check "Show low-quality OCR" to see all results.

Privacy

This site does not track you. All bookmarks, notes, and search history are stored locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to any server. You can clear your data anytime through your browser settings.
